Yvonne Hyland
Yvonne Hyland has an extensive background spanning startups to Fortune 100 corporations within the technology industry.
Yvonne held leadership roles at SAP and Gartner and has led technology-enabled business transformation programs with Fortune 50 clients. At SAP, Yvonne was the Head of Products and Services for SAP Denmark, while also managing strategic projects in the manufacturing sector for SAP. During the 11 years she was with Gartner, she successfully launched and scaled the Advisory Service businesses, which catered to enterprise IT leaders (EITL) and high-tech general managers and senior executives (GGM).
Yvonne has a proven track record as a founder and entrepreneur with successful exits, including IBM as a strategic acquirer. She has also worked as a VC operator. Her entrepreneurial endeavors involve founding and leading four companies, one of which was Management and Application Support (MAS), a group of several companies across Northern Europe and the United States. MAS was the largest independent systems integrator (SI) in Northern Europe at the time of its acquisition by IBM.
Alongside her involvements as a Senior Advisor at Altman Solon, Yvonne is an advisor, investor, board member, and speaker. Her work focuses in two distinct areas, advising high-tech organizations on their growth initiatives and providing guidance on how manufacturing enterprises should approach policy and governance for the use artificial intelligence (AI), including generative AI.
Yvonne serves as an entrepreneur in residence at Syracuse University's Blackstone LaunchPad. She is also a member of the Syracuse University Libraries Board and acts as a mentor at Northeastern University's Center for Technology Management and Digital Leadership.
