Micah Gertson

Micah Gertson is an expert in commercial strategy across the Tech and Telecom sectors, primarily focusing on compute and networking hardware, enterprise software, cybersecurity, cloud software and services models, IT managed services, and cutting-edge topics like micro-edge computing, cybersecurity, and AI. He also has deep expertise in communications infrastructure and service companies such as retail and hyperscale data centers, enterprise and residential fiber, mobile network operators, and mobile tower portfolios.

Micah leads due diligence engagements for Tech and Telecom investors, in addition to performing commercial strategy work for executives in these industries. He has completed 50+ strategy engagements over the last five years. While most of Micah’s projects are for clients in Europe and North America, he also has experience in emerging markets such as Mongolia.

Prior to joining Altman Solon in 2016, Micah spent almost a decade in the semiconductor industry, designing high-performance processors at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). He holds an MBA with High Honours from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, summa cum laude, from Texas A&M University.
