Stewart Hindley focuses on a variety of technology areas, including specializing in SaaS/Software across a variety of sub-sectors (e.g. Verticalized solutions, Infrastructure Software, Cybersecurity / Fraud Management, Identity & Asset Management (IAM), Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC), Legal Tech, AI/ML and Big Data Management, Data Protection, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), CRM/MarTech, etc.), Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial Technology and the Manufacturing Value chain (e.g. Design, Build, Operate, Service), Technology-enabled services and MSPs serving Cloud platforms (e.g AWS, Azure, GCP).
He supports the firm’s clients – both operating companies and Private Equity firms – throughout their M&A/Investment/Strategic Initiative journey, from initial planning (thesis creation/validation); to execution (commercial due diligence, market sizing, competitive positioning); and to operation (100-day planning post deal, integration, performance improvements).
Prior to Altman Solon, Stewart worked at GE Digital, where he helped lead their Strategy and Corporate Development efforts. He previously spent 15 years as an Investment Banker, specializing in M&A for the TMT sector, and successfully completed approximately 50 transactions, including 25 for SaaS/Cloud companies. Stewart earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), from which he graduated summa cum laude.
