Altman Solon, the largest global strategy consulting firm specialising in the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology sectors, today announced the promotions of Carli Esser, Damien Marchesi, Lukasz Nowicki, and Federico Torri to Director. The promotions reflect the talent and contributions these four individuals have made to Altman Solon’s growth, as well as the firm’s continued commitment to investing in its people.
Carli Esser, who joined the firm in 2012, works with telecom operators, media companies, and investors in Europe, focusing on strategy and implementation for go-to-market approaches, product development, sales efficiency, and operational improvement. Carli has also managed numerous major TMT transactions in Europe and supported 35+ commercial & technical due diligences worldwide in the retail, wholesale, B2B, and B2C space. He is based in Altman Solon’s London office.
Damien Marchesi is also London-based and joined in 2018 and works with global telecoms investors and operators across a variety of corporate finance and strategic projects. He has communications infrastructure sub-sector expertise across mobile and broadcasting towers, enterprise and residential fibre, data centres, and network separation. He has also worked with a variety of cable, mobile and MVNO companies.
Lukasz Nowicki, who joined the firm’s Warsaw office last year, focuses on strategy, due diligence, business and financial modelling, valuations, economic regulation and network sharing for major telecom, media, digital and tech companies, as well as Private Equity clients. His experience in these sectors includes working in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and North America.
Federico Torri specializes in mobile and fixed operators/infrastructure providers and investors on transactions, strategy and regulation focusing on telco & media, mainly on projects in Europe and LatAm. Federico, who joined in 2019 has directed numerous large-scale transactions (e.g. M&A, debt financing) and projects on operator strategy, including roll-out plans, spectrum valuation, network sharing, and regulatory positioning. He is based in Altman Solon’s Milan office.
