Charles Cieutat
Charles has over 20 years of experience in the telecom and technology industries, with over 400 consulting projects in wireline and wireless telecom services, digital infrastructure, including fiber, towers, and data centers, cloud, and managed IT services. Combining a strategic mindset with a highly technical background, he supports his clients’ confident decision making on a wide range of commercial topics, spanning corporate strategy, go-to-market, operations, and M&A.
Charles is an expert in strategy formulation, market entry, sizing, and forecasting, primary and secondary research, quantitative business plan development and economic analysis, benchmarking, network planning, and pragmatic design and implementation in sales, product, marketing, and operations. Charles also works with investors to develop investment hypotheses, evaluate potential investments, improve portfolio companies’ performance, and support portfolio companies’ sale.
Charles holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, a MS in Telecom Engineering from Monash University, Australia, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Telecom SudParis in France. Before Altman Solon, Charles was an IT manager at Renault, where he managed a ~$20M budget, and a Technical Sales Engineer at Orange, where he designed complex telecom networks.
